The long, now closed long mezzanine at the N/E of Nostrand Ave station on Fulton was designed to give passengers access to the Bedford Av subway, Although it is now difficult to see due to a lack of RFWs, there is a space above the Fulton St tracks N/O Nostrand that would have accommodated a subway line although unlike Utica, no actual subway infrastructure was built there. As for Crosstown, I never was able to find out specifically what sort of provision was made at Bedford/Nostrand but I seem to recall that Tunnelrat has some info about it. |
