It may have been my first baseball game.I saw the Mets play the Dodgers and the Giants many times at Shea. I was at the 1969 playoff game 3 where they won the NL pennant I was at the 1969 world series where they won. I always mention this when I see MIB 3 to whoever is there. I saw the Beatles at Shea. That's a bit off topic, except as always I took the subway. The city didn't die in 1957. It was a much slower near death than that. And it is more alive than ever. |
