That may be that case, but back in the late 1950s when I was in grade school, there was a slide show about the lower level of the GWB and the, as yet unnamed, Narrows bridge and both were supposed to have rapid transit. It’s unfortunate that Moses’ decline in power couldn’t have happened a few years earlier so they might have been able to design and locate the bridge for transit. |
