In the AM rush there are a few selected 2s that go the N/Lts and a few selected 5s that go to either Utica or N/Lts to lay up. These trains are needed in the Bx but are not needed for N/B service from Flatbush so they go directly to the E/Pky branch to lay up. In the event that a Flatbush train goes bad, the N/Lts and Utica layups are supposed to be sent to Flatbush to replace the B/O train. |
