They operated on the Mainline between Jamaica and Woodside. They were hauled out to Long Island City by GG-1 4862. The RDC were built by the Budd Company as self-propelled diesel units No. 43 was built in March, 1953 and saw service on the New Haven, Penn Central, Conrail and Metro-North Railroad.
