I'm sure that some have you have noticed that where the Livonia Av line tracks curve from Livonia to head to the yard (around Cleveland or Elton Sts), there is evidence of a provision to run the tracks down Newlots Av. I wonder where that would have ended up if built. It isn't that far to Fountain Av, where Newlots ends at a housing project (which of course was not there in the 1920s when the Livonia line was built). Wonder if it was going to head off to Queens via Linden Blvd. |
