There was a Park and Ride station in Westchester Yd for a while, but the problem with that is that unlike the situations with Lenox and Livonia, the yard station would be in effect a branch off the mainline and require a dedicated service in order to provide full time service or else it would be a part time service and possibly negating the purpose of the station anyhow. The only lines that have the mainline going directly into the yard thus not requiring an additional service are Lenox and Livonia. |
