I wondering if a part of this issue is that it could take a long time for a rider - who has missed his stop through no fault of his own by the doors not opening - is the long wait times or difficulties of simply "going back" to the intended station.On the subways when a rider in a similar situation - a rider has missed his stop - the frequency of trains and lower wait times means that it is a quick trip to simply "ride back" to the intended station. Or just sometimes walking back to the intended station if the stations are close enough. Mike |
