All the "stations" on the lower Montauk Line were gravel extending out from the ROW. Fresh Pond did have a concrete stairway (if you could find it behind the Used Car Lot) down to the tracks. Richmond Hill was the only "elaborate " station. Mill Neck Station had been converted to a town hall/police station back in the '50's, with only an asphalt pavement platform. |
