They won't jackknife. But they might slow down to 10 mph or else come to a complete halt (hopefully on the shoulder but you never know).I can also imagine a self-driving truck crossing Manhattan on its way from a Hudson River Tunnel to Queens or Brooklyn becoming so flummoxed that it shuts down while blocking a major avenue. |
