The 20 R-38s that were on the property were pressed in service on the Ethel and Fred lines, one trainset on each line. Then Jamaica Yard had to borrow 32 R-16s and put them on the GG. Finally a group of condemned BMT standards were pulled off the scrapline and sent back to revenue service. |
