I wonder what that notice from the NYC Transit System in the window said:

1) Fare going to 10 Cents
2) We're crappyifying your service by removing the connection to Second Avenue
3) We're crappyfying your service by removing the Thrid Avenue El and the associated transfer. Pack your asses onto the Lex.
4) The Astoria changes of 1949 (which I don't consider to have been too awful)
