Wrong.14th street market is an inferior one to serve over 42nd Street, regardless of NYU. The #7 will get a hell of a lot more people to within walking distance of their office than the L. #7 also intersects with every north-south trunk route. It won't inspire the MTA to do anything with L train lengths in as much as a #7 extension won't inspire them to re-engineer it for 12 or 14 car trains. |
