The R-11s also had mikes above the trigger boxes like 484 and 744. When 484 and 744 were retrofitted, they were supposed to be kept together at the C/R operating position of the trains they were on so PA operation could be tested, but I never saw them operating that way probably because by the time I started riding the system, the B of T opted for in cab door operation and the new cars would eventually have PA mikes in the cars. |
