My mother lived there in the 30's and 40's. We new some friends who lived o Willis Avenue south of 149th Street. They moved to Hull Avenue (204th ST) about the same time. About 1970 or so they moved to Pennsylvania. It seemed that was the pattern. The first move was to the northern Bronx and then out of the city entirely. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
