Along the LIRR Evergreen Branch around 1992, was still a RR Crossing Sign....the tracks were long ripped up. This being Cornelia Street or Jefferson Ave....![]() Richmond Hill, 1998. Don't get too excited seeing the crowd......it was the most people the station had seen in many years....it was a Fantrip "Farewell to the old diesel equipment"... ![]() (Sorry for the quality. It was pre digital, and I used slide film back then, and you couldn't just "snap away". ![]() St Albans in 1993. It was a mess. ![]() Springfield Gardens station was still there in 1993, although abandoned for years: ![]() Hewlett Station on the Far Rockaway Branch is the oldest surviving station house.
