IT *HAD to be abandoned with the advent of the C3s. No equipment on the LIRR can platform where there are no platforms!Why the last non-stop trains to LIC did not use that route was probably due to track and speed restrictions. The could move all of the equipment they needed to on the mane lion. ROAR |
