Union: The original mezzanine for the Willets Point station is still intact. When it was built it was located on Roosevelt Avenue as it is today. However the station house was located at Willets Point Boulevard. The platforms were moved further west in preparation for the 1939 World's Fair. The stairways leading to the old mezzanine were removed but the mezzanine is still there. (or at least it was two years ago) Park Place station (IRT) - at one time the remains of an elevator that provided access to the 9th Avenue El was visible from the west mezzanine of the Park Place station.
