They are leasing 21, not just 8 , MARC cars next summer just so they have the shop margin that they can get rehabbed.They also got the C-3's to not only to operate wit the DE/DM, but also tested and run with a MARC cab car. They can adapt MU cables. There are not even rumors that MTA has any intentions to do anything to the LIRR diesel fleet, and I don't even know of such cars are yet a certainty for MN. They may be, or may be not. |
