I have mentioned in a few post relative to Moses that it’s too bad we didn't have a person like that who would have done for mass transit what he did for highways. The IND second system and possibly even more might have been built. Someone like that probably would have been able to get the Astoria Line extended to Laguardia Airport and the Rocky Bch branch through Queens built directly to what’s now Kennedy Airport. |
