There will always me homeless on the street no matter how much I am paid.Market forces determine who much an executive is paid and how much a hamburger costs. RENT CONTROL to "help" the poor has destroyed housing for all but the rich. Some say they want affordable housing. Well the cost of building a house does not care how much money you have. The same parts cost the same price wether you are rich or poor. Landlords cannot afford to give housing to the poor, and even when that was done (the projects) you can see just how dandy those dwellings are. You get to pay more for nice secure digs. ROAR |
