And the #7 countdown clocks are still in test mode, as they themselves say. And they're completely inaccurate. Tonight at Queensboro Plaza upper level, the clock said the next train would arrive in 3 minutes, and it said that as the train pulled in to the station.

Also, it says "Flushing - Mai" because there's no room for the n. (Actually there's plenty of room for the n if they shortened the minutes field.)

And the #7 clocks are a completely different design from the others, with each line numbered and the display in black.

Of course on the upper level at QP the N clock is next to the 7 track, and the 7 clock (a separate clock) is behind it and blocked from view and can't be seen unless you're right there, so most people won't notice the mis-information.

I suspect that's why most of the clocks have been installed in stupid positions, the least visible locations, so that no one will notice how bad they are.
