Key System 499 was built by Hall-Scott for the Oakland, Antioch & Eastern in 1913; to San Francisco-Sacramento in 1920, and Sacramento Northern in 1923. Sold to Key System in 1942, after SN ended passenger service. Scrapped in 1951.

As for when, the automobile behind the interurban is a first-generation Kaiser, I believe a 1948.
