Since you drive a wildly obsolete car, and I’ve pointed out my experiences from a variety of cars made in the last 20 years, I am going to assume I’m right unless I hear reliable testimony otherwise. You are not reliable.

You have no evidence that it’s only “some cars.”

And I see that you’ve now backslid; what ever happened to your claim that you never brought up instrument illumination?
