There's been 222 R32's for the longest time, and they are split between the C and J train.Still no explanation as to where the extra 36 cars are coming from. The M is running to ENY rather than Metro Ave, but then 24 R42's are captive to the M shuttle. There is no surplus coming from that. I think this is all about the 53rd Street outage. Why would they want a R32 with a MDBF of just 33,000 miles to takeover much of the A service. They still do have AC issues in tunnels in the summer. |
