As a side, currently on the G, the R68/68A is 300' for a 4 car train. They tested the feasibility of running a 5 car R 160. No go because that's 300', 30 inches. There are monitors for c/r sight lines at some stations and some didn't line up due to the extra 30 inches.When the G adds cars for the L closure, if they want to leave the monitors alone, they have to run 8 cars of R68/68A. If they run 8 or 10 cars of 60' cars, monitors should be moved. |
