This train also ran for some time in the 1960's after the World's Fair ended. It filled in the midday time from about 9:30-noon (westbound) and noon-3 PM (eastbound).

The successor service began on October 18, 1965. It ran between Main Street and Times Square stopping at Willets Point, Queensboro Plaza, Grand Central and Fifth Avenue. Sometime around December 1966 these trains began making regular stops.
