The last southbound train left 155th Street at 10:06 PM with a seven car consist and many last riders. The last northbound train left Rector Street at 10:50 PM and arrived at 155th Street at 11:18 PM stopping only at 42nd Street and 53rd Street. Service was discontinued between 59th Street - 9th Avenue and South Ferry. The following stations were closed; 8th Avenue-53rd Street, 50th Street, 42nd Street, 38th Street, 33rd Street, 28th Street, 23rd Street, 18th Street, 14th Street, 8th Street, Bleecker Street, Grand Street, Franklin Street, Chambers Street, Park Place, Cortlandt Street and Rector Street. The stations at Battery Place and South Ferry which are actually on the 9th Avenue El will continue to be served by those trains.
