Then it's too bad they didn't cut back the platform edges so regular B division equipment could use it as a terminal. That would have been useful in general when the M wasn't running through, as it would have eliminated the need for an at-grade merge, and would have been particularly useful now, when it could have allowed a direct connection with Manhattan-bound trains while the viaduct is being rebuilt.subfan |
