Posted by Lou from Brooklyn on Mon Oct 16 09:12:59 2017 Did I have an overly cautious T/O on the B this morning?He crawled in southbound at Kings Hwy and then on our trip to Newkirk he took several reductions. I mean strong reductions where if we had standees they would have had to grab on. We were very slow in to Newkirk which we normally catch the Q train that arrives at the Hwy before the B, but it was long gone. The Q even beat us to Church, had closed down already and got the lineup into Prospect and we had to wait for X388. So does the slow order this year start before Kings Hwy or was this just at T/O be supper careful (did someone get banged in for an overrun recently?)? Historically the slow order on both southbound tracks started around Ave H. Thanks |
