There were 2 weeks in July 1969 that I had an early AM run on the A. On the way to work, I always got an R-42 with fully functional A/C but since I was dressed for midday temperatures, the ride was too cold. During the entire 2 weeks I had that run, I only got an R-42 for one half trip. The rest of the time I had to put up with the mini fans of the R-10s. |
