Nope!You just STOPPED reading the rest of the postings on this matter! You neglected to look at the history of Squires Vickers, the architect beyond the subway station designs for the entire subway system at the time. I spent a great deal of time looking into this issue, and posting what I've found. You also neglected to actually WALK around the Times Square subway station - its been there since 1917 to see the various versions of the "cross-roads" motif within the Times Square station. Mike |
