Posted by Joe V on Thu Aug 17 18:48:38 2017 I took trip from NJ to Mineola today to take advantage of the cheap M&E fares, free admission to PATH (to WTC), and cheap LIRR ticket to Zone 4 ($5.75) from Brooklyn. I wanted to visit WIllis Hobbies after some years. Also had the treat of an M-3 from Jamaica to Mineola.On the ticket, Atlantic Terminal indeed had a "3" next to it (for the zone number it was priced at), but the expiration date states very explicitly 10/15/17 - 60 days out. I asked the conductor if these were good beyond 9/1. He said yes. The expiration date is all that matters. Cheap NJT M&E tickets to Hoboken state quite explicitly they are not good beyond 9/1/17. |
