You can see in the distance where the BQE stole the right of way of York Street. Not visible in the middle of the picture to the left is where Main Street cut under the bridge. The BQE, Tillary Street, and Cadman Plaza really did much to divide Brooklyn Heights, DUMBO, and Downtown Brooklyn. |
