I was never suggesting them (either the powered EMU or trailer cars) as being the equal of a purpose built push-pull, just pointing out their existence and similarity to the Marc cars since I was unsure of how specific an answer the original poster was seeking. The amount of time and money to repurpose them makes it highly unlikley that they have any future when they retire. |
