The R32 signage confused Southern Division riders more than R27/30 signage.

The R27/30 had for the RR Broadway 4th Ave Local. QT had Broadway Brighton Local via Tunnel, QB same but via Bridge. Weekends they laid up the Standards and DTypes and ran these on the N: Broadway Sea Beach Express, T Broadway West End Express and Tt West End Local. Weekend passengers therefore knew the letters. But when the M-F only commuters came upon the new R32's with their Broadway Express and Broadway Local designations, except for the TT West End Local, they were confused.
