Posted by TUNNELRAT on Sun Jun 25 11:11:44 2017 edf40wrjww2msgDetail:detailStr I took the rockaway ferry to nyc last thrs.$5,50 round trip well spent.fantastic views of new York from the water.I even saw the cross harbor tug pulling a barge with an assortment of cars on it.it looked like a HO railroad.I highly recommend it.you can drive into rockaway,beach 108st.and find parking on the street.bring a wind breaker if you are doing just the round trip,its cold as soon as you leave the dock,both ways.if you are a senior,or a senorita you can get a half fare coupon on line.
