A third tube with no stations probably would not need to be outrageously expensive, though the question becomes one of how to connect it into the existing tubes at either end. If Mr. Bauman's assertion is true, his argument makes perfect sense, regardless of what the actual expense is, even if it is in the tens of billions of dollars. |
