The south platform can only hold 6 cars of which 4 can open, so it's not all that useful. From 720am-830am they bring in a train every 5-6 minutes. 500pm-550pm they depart a train every 5-6 minutes.The direct yard lead will help, though... they're working on all these construction projects... when was the last time something got finished and built? You could extend the peak windows a little, or add service on the margins of the rush hour, but you'd still be dealing with short trains and an inefficient terminal that is difficult to improve due to severe space limitations. |
