Ok, heypaul's second picture shows a concrete vehicular driveway lined up with the curb cut I mentioned before. And playing around with street view, from the other side, facing the apartment building, the little building is clearly made of cinder blocks skimmed with concrete.Definitely not a 1901 structure. But as it faces the empty lot and brewery, I'm taking back my above thought that it was ever connected with the apartment building (which also has its own service alley). Truthfully, it kinda looks like a concession store- like where you'd buy hot dogs at a minor league park or get mini-golf balls. Was that grassy lot, once inhabited by the ice plant ever used for such a purpose? It doesn't look big enough... |
