It was a cold, rainy day. We were in the city that day, as a matter of fact. My father went to visit his cousin, who was hospitalized with asthma (and wound up on a stalled subway train, either an N or QB, near the Manhattan Bridge) while my mother, sister and I went up to the Museum of Natural History. My father later met up with us at the museum and we all returned to PABT for our return bus to Paterson. I was all too eager to explore the subway, but my request was vetoed. One round trip to the museum via the AA was it that day. |
