And I read in another article today that he wanted to get off at Naperville, and they wouldn't let him. Frightened passengers wanted to get into the waiting room, but the ticket agent locked the door and told them to go to to the bathroom to get out of harm's way.

There is a Go Fund Me link on Trainorders.com. The conductor is in critical condition, despite media reports. It will be a long time before he returns to work, if ever.
