The "downward code" is done by signal indications in the age old ATC system, a subject matter the NSTB Final report totally "forgot", instead went on a PTC charade.The curve had that restriction westbound, but deemed by Amtrak as unneeded eastbound. Then FRA refused the corridor to be re-opened after the wreck until is was implemented eastbound. It will be very hard for these so-called criminal lawyers to send him to jail and prove he was criminally, not civilly liable, beyond a reasonable doubt. |
