Should have gone with Bombardier, for better technical merit and an off the shelf proven design. If they're piggybacking off of MBTA's order these cars will also be too tall for NYP, making them un-Amtrakable.

Hopefully not 3x2 seating either. The combination of fatter Americans and more space on trains has made it pointless - the large mid-tier area fits plenty of standees if it has longitudinal seating.
