I rode a Harlem Line M-3 last week on a North White Plains ultra-local trip. They definitely had rehabbed the seats (not the dilapidated ones in place when I rode those trains regularly in the time period 2004-2006). And the motors sounded and acted pretty good too; the doors worked fine; etc.
