Is it really dangerous to get to Pitkin Yard? I've heard stories.Yes. The people who work in the yard barn get the yard dispatcher to run an empty train from the yard to Euclid as a shuttle so the workers are in less danger. I don't know if this is still done but it's definitely something that was in practice not long ago. |
