The counterpoint to that is that a Q in the wrong place means that people will assume it's rerouted and wonder how far it will stay rerouted, causing them to actually pay attention to signs and announcements.Regardless, anybody who skips a good train will only fall one train behind. A person who wants to go to Astoria and ends up at 96th is much more heavily inconvenienced. |
