They want to erase memories of a station they opened and abandoned so quickly...if asked, they'd probably say that Arthur Kill is the first extant station opened since 1971. But you're right- Ball Park opened and closed within 10 years, I think. With all the development taking place in that area, they should not only reopen Ball Park, but also go one stop further west... |
