Turns out our fellow Chatter George Foelschow also was. For me having been on the next to last post revenue charter on DC Transit the previous Janury it was a real bummer. Today we (quite legitimately) complain of slow and vastly over priced extensions/restorations/new routes; back then we were trying to ride ANY route still operating before the gutterliners took over. If and when I get my scanner running, a pic of the final train will show up.(yay Tri-X in acufine) |
