"... a train can run with all doors open on both sides."Yep. As a kid, I remember seeing a train of BMT Standards entering service, rounding the curve into QBP with open doors. Those cars were apparently sitting in the middle track above 31st St between rush hours. The doors were opened in an attempt to cool the interiors off after sitting in the sun all day. |
